|---|---|---|
| Yakınlaştırdığınızda nişangah boyutu değişir mi? | Evet, görüntüyle birlikte ölçeklenir | Hayır, aynı boyutta kalır |
| Hash işareti değerleri her güçte doğru mu?
| Do turret clicks change? | No | No |
| Best suited to | Holdovers, wind holds, ranging, target and precision shooting | Center-hold hunting, BDC use at a set power, fast low-power shots |
For most hunting, the honest answer is that either works if you know how your scope behaves. The deciding question is how you plan to handle longer shots.
SFP hunting examples in our catalog include the Vortex Crossfire II 3-9×40 BDC MOA ($209.99) and the Riton 1 Primal 4-16×44 ($269.99). If you want FFP in a mid-range hunting magnification, look at the Athlon Talos BTR Gen1 4-14×44 FFP MIL ($412.99) or the Vortex Diamondback Tactical 4-16×44 FFP MRAD ($559.99).
For long-range and precision shooting, FFP is the more common choice, for a practical reason: at distance you are constantly reading the reticle. You spot misses, hold for wind and correct between shots, often after changing magnification to find the target or watch the trace. With FFP, all of those reads are valid without adjustment.
SFP can still work at distance if you dial every correction and keep the scope on its calibrated power when you use the reticle. Some shooters prefer the finer high-power aiming point for small targets. It is a workable setup, it just asks for more discipline.
FFP long-range examples include the Vortex Venom 5-25×56 FFP EBR-7C MRAD ($699.99) and the Athlon Argos BTR Gen2 8-34×56 APMR FFP MIL ($469.99). For an SFP option at high magnification, the Athlon Argos BTR Gen2 10-40×56 BLR SFP MOA ($469.99) is in the same family.
Low-power variable optics make the trade-off especially visible, because they spend so much time at 1x. On an FFP LPVO the reticle is at its smallest exactly when you want a fast aiming point, so these designs usually rely on a bright illuminated center. On an SFP LPVO the reticle stays the same size at 1x, which many AR shooters find easier for close, fast shots. The FFP LPVO pays you back when you zoom in and use the holds at mid-range.

You can filter the whole range by focal plane: first focal plane rifle scopes or second focal plane rifle scopes. The same page also filters by magnification class, adjustment unit and price, and you can browse all tüfek dürbünleri there.
Not in general. FFP is better when you use the reticle to measure, hold or range at different magnifications. SFP is better when you want a consistent, easy-to-see reticle and mainly shoot with the center crosshair.
No. Turrets move the reticle relative to the image, and a click has the same value in both designs. Focal plane only affects what the reticle’s marks represent.
At the magnification the manufacturer calibrated it for. That is often the highest power, but not always, so check the manual or reticle guide for your specific model.
Because it scales with the image. At low magnification the whole reticle is reduced along with the target. Illuminated reticles and designs with a heavier center help with this.
Yes, and many hunting scopes are built that way. The drop marks line up with their stated distances only at the calibrated magnification and with the ammunition they were designed around, so confirm the holds at the range before relying on them.
If you plan to hunt and hold center, SFP is simpler to learn. If you already know you want to shoot at varied distances using reticle holds, starting with FFP saves you from relearning later.
