This Glock Gen 5 grip plug fills the open cavity at the rear of the grip with a solid aluminum insert. It keeps dirt, lint and debris out of the frame and gives the bottom of the grip a clean, finished look. The same plug fits Glock Gen 4 frames.

Why Add a Glock Gen 5 Grip Plug
Glock pistols leave an open space behind the magazine well at the base of the grip. During carry and range use, this cavity collects dust, lint and grit. A grip plug closes the gap, so the frame stays cleaner. In addition, it removes the hollow edge that can catch on clothing or holster straps.

How to Install a Glock Grip Plug
- Unload the pistol, remove the magazine and check that the chamber is empty.
- Line up the plug with the open cavity at the rear of the grip.
- Press it in until it sits flush with the base of the grip.
- Finally, insert and release an empty magazine to confirm smooth operation.
