How to Mount Adjustable Scope Rings

1. First, make sure the firearm is unloaded and the rail is clean and free of oil.
2. Loosen the thumb nuts and seat both rings on the rail, pushing each clamp forward into a rail slot.
3. Set both rings to the same height, then remove the top caps.
4. Next, lay the scope in the rings, set the eye relief and level the reticle.
5. Tighten the cap screws evenly in a cross pattern, then tighten the rail clamps and zero the scope.
6. Recheck the screws after the first few shots, since new adjustable scope rings can settle slightly.
