How to Install the Pistol Optic Adapter Plate
- Unload the pistol, remove the magazine and confirm the chamber is empty.
- Clean and degrease the mounting surface on the slide and the underside of the plate.
- Seat the plate on the slide so the rear key sits fully in place, then fit the mounting screws with a drop of medium thread locker.
- Next, choose the hole pair that matches your red dot footprint and fit the optic with the correct screws.
- Tighten all screws evenly to the torque your optic maker recommends, then zero the sight at the range.
