This Glock optic mount with charging handle lets you fit a micro red dot to your Glock without cutting the slide. The kit replaces the factory rear slide cover plate and anchors a universal optic plate at the back of the slide, while a knurled charging handle gives you a solid grip for racking. Available in black, red and tan aluminum. For a plate that also carries backup iron sights, see our Glock red dot mount with fiber optic backup sights, or browse all red dot mounts.
Why Choose This Glock Optic Mount with Charging Handle?
Milling a slide for an optic is permanent and costly. By contrast, this mount is a non-permanent solution: it uses the existing rear slide cover plate interface, so you can return the pistol to factory form at any time.
In addition, the universal hole pattern and the included screw set cover many popular micro red dot footprints. As a result, you can change optics later without buying a new mount.
Key Features of the Glock Optic Mount
- No slide cut: installs through the rear slide cover plate, so the slide stays unmodified.
- Charging handle: a knurled handle makes racking the slide easier with an optic fitted. The supplier states it can be removed and fitted for ambidextrous use.
- Universal footprint plate: drilled and tapped for several common micro red dot footprints.
- Low profile: a slim plate keeps the optic close to the slide.
- Aluminum alloy: CNC-machined aluminum in black, red or tan.
- Optic screws included: screws in several lengths to match different red dots.

Glock Optic Mount with Charging Handle FAQ
Does it fit Gen 5 Glocks?
No. This mount is made for Gen 1 to Gen 4 slides only.
Do I need to mill my slide?
No. The mount uses the rear slide cover plate, so no slide cutting is needed.
Which color should I choose?
All three colors use the same aluminum plate and hardware. Black matches most slides, while red and tan add contrast.
