How to Install the Glock Optic Mount Plate
- First, unload the pistol, remove the magazine and confirm the chamber is empty.
- Drift out the factory rear sight with a sight pusher or punch.
- Slide the plate’s dovetail key into the rear sight dovetail and center it on the slide.
- Then secure the plate with the set screws, using a drop of medium thread locker.
- Fit your red dot to the matching hole pattern, tighten the screws evenly and zero the optic at the range.
If you do not have a sight pusher, a qualified gunsmith can fit the plate for you.

What color are the fiber optic sights?
The plate is supplied with either green or red fiber inserts. The color is random and cannot be selected.
Does it replace my rear sight?
