Tested this during Montana’s shoulder season. The 5-25x magnification gave me crucial flexibility when a trophy bull ranged at 423 yards across a canyon. The first focal plane MOA graduations made holdovers intuitive despite sudden wind changes. The IR illumination saved my hunt when the bull stepped into timber shadows at last light. Parallax adjustment solved my ranging errors through haze.
